Eleuthera is served by North Eleuthera Airport (ELH), one of the islands three airports and the main gateway to the north, including nearby Harbour Island and Spanish Wells. Settlements and beaches are typically reached in minutes to around an hour by taxi or rental car, with short water-taxi rides connecting the offshore cays. Its compact size makes for a quick, easy transfer into island life.

The beaches are the heart of any Eleuthera visit. Sink your toes into the famous pink sands, swim and snorkel in calm turquoise shallows, and search out secluded coves along both the Atlantic and Caribbean coasts. The surrounding reefs and clear water make for excellent snorkeling, diving, and bonefishing.

Drive the Queens Highway past pineapple farms and pastel villages, stop at the dramatic Glass Window Bridge where two seas nearly meet, and cool off in the Ocean Hole, a deep inland blue hole.
