Beach Bliss

Whether you’re looking to spend time in the lively Cabo San Lucas or the quieter San Jose del Cabo, Los Cabos offers visitors a chance to escape for a beachy getaway. Accessible through Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), there are many sites to explore throughout the area — from Los Arcos, which magestically jut out of the nearby waters, to cliff hiking to golf. But most visitors are seeking the sunny, relaxing beaches of the area, and are ready to fill resorts for their next tropical vacation.

Cabo San Lucas Weather

Jutting into the Pacific Ocean, Baja California is as sunny of a destination as one can find. Warm all year long, December through April is the busiest time of the year for travel to Cabo San Lucas. The summer months tend to be a little rainier, but still remain popular, with temperatures typically reaching as high as 94° Fahrenheit during July and August.

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD)

Located in the San Jose del Cabo area of Los Cabos, Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is one of the busiest airports in Mexico. Housing two terminals — Terminal 1 for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights — the airport is simple to navigate. Rental cars and private transportation are available to take visitors to their lodging.

All food options within the airport accept either pesos or American dollars, with plenty of dining and duty-free areas to enjoy.

Cabo San Lucas Activities

Los Cabos can offer different vibes for each visitor, whether you’re looking for a quiet escape in San Jose del Cabo or seeking a lively scene in Cabo San Lucas. Either location offers a plethora of resort and hotel options, as most visitors take advantage of the great weather and beach location of this vacation destination.

Water sports, like snorkeling and scuba diving, are popular activities off the coast, primarily around El Arco, or The Arch, with its dramatic cliffs. Fishing charters and whale watching tours are available from Cabo San Lucas. A golf destination as well, all areas of Los Cabos boast spectacular golf courses, many of which feature unique views of the coastline and the surrounding mountains.
