We are committed to offering you the lowest fare for Delta flights when you book directly from us, including on delta.com or via the Fly Delta app. If you find a lower price somewhere else within 24 hours of purchasing your ticket, our 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation Policy allows you to cancel your ticket and receive a full refund.

With our Low Fare Commitment, feel confident that you are getting the best price available on delta.com and on the Fly Delta app for Delta flights with the airports and type of itinerary that you request. Our commitment includes:

  • All tickets purchased directly from Delta, including on delta.com or via the Fly Delta app
  • If you find a lower fare, you can cancel your Delta ticket up to 24 hours after booking and receive a full refund to your original form of payment through our 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation Policy

If I find a lower fare after 24 hours, can I still receive a refund or price adjustment?

Unfortunately, our 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation policy only applies for 24 hours directly after booking, so a price adjustment would not be possible unless you purchased a refundable fare. 

Is the Low Fare Commitment valid for tickets purchased through a third-party travel site?

No. Our Low Fare Commitment is our commitment to ensuring that Delta offers the lowest fare when you book your Delta flight directly from us, including on delta.com or through the Fly Delta app. Delta’s policy does not apply to tickets purchased from other sources, such as travel agencies or other airlines.

Risk-Free Cancellation Terms & Conditions

As part of our Customer Commitment, the 24-Hour Risk-Free Cancellation is for customers who book direct with Delta, on delta.com or the Fly Delta app. If a lower fare is available on delta.com, Fly Delta, third-party travel sites or through a travel agent after purchasing an eTicket, customers have the option to cancel their qualifying eTicket up to 24 hours after booking for any reason and receive a full refund. Customers can then purchase the lower fare. Cancellation requests must be made before travel commences for the first flight. This commitment only applies to wholly unused published fare tickets originally purchased directly from Delta, including on delta.com, or the Fly Delta app.  Fares, offers, and rules are subject to change without notice.
