Departures

Public transit and the AirTrain are recommended for easier access to Terminal 4.

However, please be advised that an AirTrain Dual-Track Outage (DTO) will affect service for the Central Terminal Area from October 15 at 7:00 A.M. – October 24 at 11:00 A.M.

During this outage:

  • A bus bridge will operate between Federal Circle and Terminal 1
  • The AirTrain will continue serving Terminals 4, 5, 7, 8, Federal Circle, Jamaica and Howard Beach

You may experience longer wait times and larger crowds during the outage.

Arrivals

Due to construction, the rideshare (Lyft / Uber) pick-up area at JFK will be located at a remote pick-up lot from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 A.M. daily.

Arriving customers can access the rideshare pick-up area by shuttle bus that picks up curbside in Terminal 4.

Curbside pick-up will continue to be available for customers with disabilities and those using premium rideshare services.

Connecting Flights

  • All Delta-operated flights and partner airlines flights (Aeromexico, KLM, LATAM, Virgin Atlantic and West Jet) operate from Terminal 4
  • Partner airlines flights (Air France, China Eastern, and Korean Air) operate from Terminal 1

If transferring from T1 to T4, please collect and re-check your checked bags after you get through customs before continuing to T4. Please note, this process can take up to an hour.
