How to Rebook Using an eCredit

It is simple to redeem your eCredit(s) on in just a few easy steps.

If you had a SkyMiles account associated to your booking when you canceled your flight, you can find your eCredit by logging in and accessing your Profile

If you do not have a SkyMiles Profile and need assistance in redeeming your eCredit(s), follow the steps listed below.

Step 1: Find Your Ticket Number

You will need to use the ticket number of your original booking (a 13-digit number beginning with “006”) to search for your eCredit. 

In Your Email Inbox

Search for "Your Flight Receipt", and locate the email that applies to the trip you previously canceled. 

Scroll down until you reach the “Flight Receipt” section in that email. Your ticket number will be the first item listed in that section.


Step 2: Search for Your eCredit

Using your ticket number, you can search for your eCredit at Enter your ticket number in the field called “Certificate or eCredit #” and click the “Look Up” button to begin your search.


Step 3: Validate Your eCredit

Validate your eCredit by entering the first and last name of the original ticket holder, then click “Add.”


Step 4: Select Your eCredit

The page will reload with your eCredit listed below “Manually Entered Certificates and eCredits.” Click the checkbox to select the eCredit.


Step 5: Continue to Begin Your Flight Search

With your eCredit selected, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the “Continue” button. You will be taken to a flight search page where you can start the process of booking a new flight. Your eCredit will be applied to the price.


Step 6: Select & Review Your Flights

Select the flights you’d like to purchase, and review your selections on the Trip Summary Page. You will see how your applied eCredits affect the final price in the calculation on the right side of the page.


Step 7: Confirm Your Purchase

On the Review and Pay page you can review your selections a final time and enter your payment information. You will again see the price calculation accounting for your eCredit on the right side, so you know exactly how much you will be charged when you complete your purchase.


Step 8: View Your Confirmation

Once your purchase is complete, you will see a summary of your purchase on the Confirmation page. Your eCredit will be reflected in the second column, below “Amount Charged.”
