St. George Activities

With 300 miles of hiking trails, four state parks,13 top-rated golf courses and 18 wilderness areas, the options for outdoor adventure are endless. St. George and the Greater Zion area draws thousands of people every year to events like IRONMAN, Tri-State ATV Jamboree and St. George Art Festival.

Historic downtown offers many museums and galleries that showcase local culture and original art. One of St. George’s most iconic experiences is “Broadway in the Desert” at the Tuacahn Amphitheater, which is tucked into a red rock canyon. Just north of town is Pioneer Park, a rock climber’s paradise that offers spectacular views of downtown.
