Sarasota & Bradenton Vacation Packages

Set along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Sarasota and Bradenton appeal to nature lovers of all ages, including beach aficionados. Sarasota is home to the family behind America’s famous Ringling Brothers Circus, as well as theatrical venues, art galleries, the Great Florida Birding & Wildlife Trail and top-rated beaches like Siesta Beach. The Bradenton Area is home to internationally acclaimed beaches and some of Florida’s most remarkable natural and cultural treasures — including the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature, the largest natural history museum on Florida’s West Coast; Robinson Preserve, a stunning 700-acre coastal sanctuary along Tampa Bay; Cortez Fishing Village, Florida’s oldest continuously operating fishing village; and Pine Avenue on Anna Maria Island, celebrated as the “greenest little main street in America.”

Explore Sarasota & Bradenton

The area offers a variety of attractions, including 35 miles of powdery beaches and great fishing. There are art galleries, boutiques, and several performing arts groups, including the Sarasota Opera and Ballet Company, and Manatee Performing Arts Center.

Meet a manatee, relax on the beach, stroll through a farmer’s market, or shop ‘til you drop in Sarasota and Bradenton, where it’s easy to make the most out of your trip, no matter what you do.

Get sun-splashed with a number of soft adventure offerings in the Bradenton Area - leave your car in park and ride the Gulf Islands Ferry between downtown Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. While on AMI, rent an electric golf cart (or bike) and explore the shops and restaurants on Pine Avenue or book a sunset dolphin cruise and watch our local population of nearly 200 dolphins play in our local waterways. Train like a pro at IMG Academy, by registering for an unforgettable sports camp experience at the world-renowned elite training complex or head out on a fishing charter to reel in some fresh seafood.

A must-see in Sarasota, is the 66-acre bay-front oasis that was once the estate of John Ringling and his wife, Mable. Here, you can take a stroll in the rose garden, or peruse the circus museum, where you can check out the old costumes, wagons and the world’s largest miniature circus. You can also tour Ca’d Zan Mansion, a magnificent 56-room, Venetian Gothic palace that was once the Ringlings’ family home.

If you need a break from the sun and fun, shopping and nightlife on the Gulf Coast is plentiful. Discover the charm of shopping throughout the Bradenton Area, from the eco-friendly boutiques and coastal-inspired finds along Pine Avenue on Anna Maria Island, to the lively, waterfront vibe of Historic Bridge Street. In downtown Bradenton, the popular Public Market brings the community together each week with local produce, handcrafted goods, artisanal foods, and unique gifts in an open-air shopping experience that celebrates the region’s creativity and culture. Sarasota’s small-town charm offers big-city sophistication with distinctive boutiques and shops found along Main Street and Palm Avenue. Only a short drive south is Venice, where small shops and boutiques grace the sidewalks, offering everything from classic island wear and jewelry to shells and shark teeth souvenirs. For open-air, pulsating nightlife, head to the corner of Lemon and Main, or for spectacular sunsets and live reggae and beach music, Centennial Park is the place to be.
