There's so much adventure, it's hard to know where to start. Mountain biking is popular, and with a local guide, you can pedal through rural back roads and between villages. Zip line through the wonders of the lush, Guatemalan jungle for an unforgettable experience. Go on a hike from temple to temple, and spot toucans, parrots and monkeys. Guatemala is also well known for its indigenous culture, which is full of color, traditions, language, rituals and customs. We also offer exciting tours you can add to your package, such as a half-day city tour or full-day Mayan ruins tour.

Five miles outside of Guatemala City are the awe-inspiring step pyramids of Tikal, one of the largest and most impressive Mayan ceremonial sites. Tikal is part of the Maya Biosphere Reserve, which is considered one of the biologically richest nature reserves in the world, and home to jaguars, pumas, spider monkeys, howler monkeys and a wide variety of birds.

Antigua is a must-see, where beautifully restored, pastel plazas and markets are overflowing with activity. This global hotspot is the perfect vantage point for exploring the surrounding indigenous communities, coffee plantations and volcanoes.

Getting to Guatemala City & Antigua
