Shopping is a big attraction on the island due to its completely duty-free status and the sheer number of goods imported, which guarantees great bargains on cosmetics, jewelry, liquors, cigars, electronics and much more. Philipsburg in St. Maarten is a popular cruise port, and Front Street boasts a multitude of stores with competitive prices.
