Kick start your day with a stroll along the Han River. Experience unique sights and smells at Gwangjang Market. Travel back into Seoul’s past at the National Museum of Korea. Be sure to stop by Changdeokgung Palace to take in the ornate splendor of the palace, and pay a little extra to walk through the Secret Garden. Afterward, take the subway to The War Memorial of Korea, or spend a day having fun at Seoul Children’s Grand Park or Lotte World. Cap the evening with a performance at Myeondong NANTA Theater.

Shop for handmade crafts and souvenirs in an open-air market. Shopping venues encompass everything from embroidered quilts, mother-of-pearl lacquerware and Oriental medicines to luxury goods and high fashion.

Dining & Drinks

Korean cuisine encompasses everything from a simple bowl of noodles to traditional "royal cuisine" — with an emphasis on bold flavor combinations.
