The most popular souvenir to take home is the cotton pareu (wraparound sarong); they’re sold everywhere throughout the islands. Except in hotels, all shops are usually closed on Sundays.

From Chinese to French, American to Japanese and Polynesian to Italian, the island of Tahiti offers a diverse selection of delicious cuisine.
