- Customer Experience Score (CES) is based on the average number of positive SkyMiles Member surveys after any negative responses or call-in complaints have been deducted. CES is calculated as = [1 + (number of positive survey responses - number of negative survey responses - (1.5 x number of call-in complaints)), divided by total SkyMiles Members booking count for that property] x 100. Positive survey responses are those with a score of 5 out of 5, and negative survey responses are those with a score of 1 through 3. CES percentage can range from a 0%-200% scale based on the calculation above. To determine the final rating, that percentage is scaled to a corresponding 1 through 5 rating, where 100% is benchmarked to a rating of 4.5. Hotel must have at least 5 SkyMiles Members bookings to qualify; hotels with more negative responses and complaints than positive responses do not qualify to be considered in the selection of SkyMiles Members’ Picks. Up to 5 SkyMiles Members' Picks properties, per destination can be selected for display.
