More About Michelle
Michelle Cowper is the Vice President of Customer Service and Operations at Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines company, where she drives innovation and excellence across the customer experience. Under her leadership, Michelle and her expert team continue to elevate the customer experience through cutting-edge advancements in artificial intelligence, BOT automation, performance dashboards, and transformative technology solutions.
Michelle has held several key leadership roles at Delta Vacations, including Director of the Customer Engagement Center Operations and Director of Workforce Development. In these roles, she successfully led talent development, recruitment strategy, employee retention, incentive planning, and performance management for more than 350 team members. Since joining the company’s Human Resources department in 1999, Michelle has built a career marked by progressive responsibility across HR, training, customer service, and operations.
Before joining Delta Vacations, Michelle worked in human resources and technical recruiting for internet start-ups and held roles in the nonprofit sector, including serving for a former U.S. Senator from North Dakota.
Michelle holds a B.A. in Broadcast Communications and Social Sciences from Minot State University and a M.S. in Administration from Central Michigan University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her husband and two children.
