Colleen Phelan

Colleen Phelan is the Vice President of Marketing, Digital and Customer Experience at Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines company. She is responsible for identifying and designing new ways to improve the overall customer experience for consumers and Travel Advisors. With 25+ years of experience spanning the full marketing spectrum, Colleen leads the omni-channel marketing strategy and execution for the $1B airline vacation brand, driving innovation across brand, digital, B2B, and customer experience.

Since joining Delta Vacations in 2015, Colleen has transformed the marketing organization, first in building the in-house creative agency, and then by overseeing web and brand strategy, B2B marketing, PR and corporate communications, and customer experience. Her leadership has been instrumental in shaping the brand’s voice, vision, and customer journey—always with a deep passion for both the brand and its travelers.

Previously, Colleen spent 15 years in Chicago working with top B2B and consumer marketing firms and advertising agencies, where she honed her expertise in client service, branding, creative strategy, and consumer insights. She began her career in sports marketing with the Atlanta Hawks.

An Atlanta native and graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism, Colleen is an avid traveler, reader, and sports enthusiast. Above all, she is a proud wife and mother to two adventurous, globe-trotting daughters.
