Delta is temporarily suspending all U.S. to China flying beginning Feb. 2 through April 30 due to ongoing concerns related to the coronavirus. Our move to the new Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) may be postponed until further notice.
An Enhanced Airport Experience
The terminal’s unique star shape structure was designed with the traveler’s experience in mind. Despite its size, walking from the terminal’s center area to any retail store or boarding gate will take no more than eight minutes.
Situated all around the airport are great shopping and Western and Chinese dining choices, covering a total of 52,000m2 and boasting 123 fashionable brands. So, go on a spree while you wait for connecting flights.
Passengers connecting in Beijing to our partner airline China Eastern, please take note that Delta does not expect you to transfer between Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX) and Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK).
China Eastern will eventually move most of their connecting flights to the new Beijing Daxing International Airport (PKX), where Delta will begin operations on March 29, 2020. However, your itinerary may still indicate a short inter-airport connection transfer from Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) to PKX until China Eastern loads their final PKX schedule into the system. Once their schedule is loaded into the system, your itinerary will be updated to reflect a same airport transfer at PKX.
In case there are any itinerary changes, Delta Reservations will contact you via telephone to book you onto a new connecting flight from PKX or process a refund.
