Other: Accrual only applies to KL-marketed flights operated by KLM, KLM Cityhopper flights, and KL coded SkyTeam partners.

Other Exclusions: Flights marketed by KLM and operated by Jet Airways are not eligible for accrual. 

 

 

(1)  A transatlantic itinerary refers to any travel between North America or Northern South America and Europe/Middle East/Africa/India and includes all segments part of the same passenger booking record. The scheduled departure time of the connecting segment must be within 24 hours of the scheduled arrival time of the previous flight. Below are examples (in bold) of applicable flights and itineraries:

a)    Atlanta to Budapest | ATL-AMS (DL-operated), AMS-BUD (KL-operated)

b)    San Francisco to Amsterdam | SFO-AMS (KL-Operated)

c)    Boston to Abu Dhabi | BOS-AMS (DL-operated), AMS-AUH (KL-operated)

d)    Lima to Taipei | LIM-AMS (KL-operated), AMS-TPE (KL-operated)

 

(2) KLM’s Northern South America flights are currently defined as Bogota (BOG), Guayaquil (GYE), and Lima (LIM) to Amsterdam (AMS).

   

(3)  Miles earned for base fare and carrier-imposed surcharges, excluding government-imposed taxes and fees. Miles earned per USD spent includes Medallion mileage bonus. Subject to a maximum of 75,000 miles per ticket.

 

(4)  Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) are used to determine SkyMiles Medallion status.

 

(5)  Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) are used to determine SkyMiles Medallion status.

 

(6)  Partner-marketed flights that are not ticketed by Delta will continue to earn miles based on a percentage of distance flown* as determined by the fare class paid. Unless otherwise noted, mileage credit is only applicable to SkyTeam-marketed flights operated by a SkyTeam member airline. Mileage credit is not applicable to a SkyTeam-marketed flight operated by another airline.

 

(7)  Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) are used to determine SkyMiles Medallion status. Flights under this earning rule will earn MQDs based on a percentage of distance flown* as determined by the fare class paid.
 

(8)  Medallion Mileage Bonus is based on Base Miles earned: Diamond - 120%; Platinum - 80%; Gold - 60%; Silver - 40%

 


*For purposes of mileage credit, "distance flown" means the calculated distance between origin and destination, as determined by Delta in its sole discretion, regardless of the actual distance traveled on any individual flight.
