Frequently Asked Questions

Delta Sky Club has invested heavily in the lounge experience, and more people value this amenity than ever before. With so many returning to travel this year, we are seeing high volumes of Delta Sky Club visitors.

The Delta Sky Club team has worked hard to create a best-in-class experience in our lounges, and we want to ensure that experience can be widely enjoyed by Delta customers. That said, our priority is to balance the popularity of the Delta Sky Club experience with the premium atmosphere and service we wish to provide for our guests.

This is a permanent change to the Delta Sky Club policy.

Delta 360 Members, American Express Centurion cardholders, and Lifetime Delta Sky Club Members will be exempt from this policy change.

This policy change will not affect Club access for customers visiting the lounges before connecting flights.

Flight delays or interruptions will have no impact on Club access, as long as customers enter the Club within three hours of their originally scheduled departure time.

Club access is allowed in this case, provided customers intend to board the earlier flight if a seat becomes available.

Delta is committed to providing a singular experience to our most loyal customers. Right now, we are in the planning stages for exclusive Delta One Clubs at LAX and JFK as we look for additional ways to expand our premium offerings. We are excited about this opportunity to further enhance the Delta Sky Club experience for Delta One customers, and more details will be coming soon.

Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business Card Members† can still enjoy access to the Delta Sky Club up to 3 hours before departure of their Delta flight. Delta SkyMiles Platinum and Platinum Business Card Members can also access the Delta Sky Club at a per-visit rate of $50. If you have questions about this policy change, please contact the Delta Sky Club Service Center. If you would like to discuss Card benefits or make updates to your membership, please contact American Express by calling the number on the back of your Card.

Effective February 1, 2025, Reserve Card Members will receive 15 Visits per year to the Delta Sky Club; to earn an unlimited number of Visits each year starting on February 1, 2025, the total eligible purchases on the Card must equal $75,000 or more between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024, and each calendar year thereafter. Once all 15 Visits have been used, Eligible Card Members may purchase additional Delta Sky Club Visits (including Grab and Go) at a per-Visit rate of $50 per person using the Card.

Effective January 1, 2024, this benefit will no longer be available.

Yes, this change applies to the two One-Time Guest Passes Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business American Express Card Members receive each year after renewal of their Card.

††Delta 360 Members and customers with a Lifetime Delta Sky Club Membership will be exempt from this policy.

1. Effective February 2, 2023, Delta Sky Club access is no longer extended to Delta Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallion Members when flying in Main Cabin or Delta Comfort+ internationally. 2. SkyTeam Elite Plus: Itinerary must include same-day international travel on SkyTeam flight.
3. Applies to guests of existing Delta Sky Club Lifetime Members; Lifetime Memberships are no longer available for purchase.
4. Delta Sky Club Members may redeem miles from their SkyMiles account to cover fees for accompanying guests as a payment option, in lieu of guest fee paid in U.S. Dollars, at any Delta Sky Club or Grab and Go location. Guest payment must be made in person upon check-in to the Club location. Mileage must be deducted from Delta Sky Club Member’s own account. Member must have sufficient miles balance to cover the entire guest fee for all guests entering the Club with them. Not combinable with certificates, eCredits, or vouchers. Any miles you use will be automatically and permanently deducted from your SkyMiles account at the time of the redemption. Transactions are nonrefundable and cannot be reversed. SkyMiles Program Rules apply. For Delta Sky Club locations, the guest fee is $50 per person per visit, or 5,000 miles (mileage redemption option available to Delta Sky Club Members only). For entries to Grab and Go locations, the guest fee is $25 per person per visit, or 2,500 miles (mileage redemption option available to Delta Sky Club Members only).
