Check-In Times at U.S. Airports

When you’re traveling within the United States, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to departure. For most airports, when traveling domestically, baggage must be checked in at least 45 minutes before your scheduled departure time (airports requiring additional time for check-in or baggage acceptance are listed below, Go to footer note). If you are traveling domestically and not checking baggage, you must be checked in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

All customers are required to be at the gate and ready to board 15 minutes before scheduled departure.

Bags may be added to your reservation at the time of check-in. However, checked bags will not be accepted at the airport more than 6 hours prior to scheduled departure time.
