Delta Sky Way at LGA
Delta Sky Way At LGA
Rebuilding Our Home in Queens
Delta is building a new, state-of-the-art home at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Building on the $2 billion Delta invested in New York over the past seven years, Delta's new experience in the new terminals will help you make the most of your travel day.
See the Benefits of the Delta Sky Way at LGA
We’ve created a comprehensive vision for a future-focused LaGuardia with shorter wait times, a more-efficient check-in and completely improved terminal experience.
Delta’s new terminal will feature 37 gates on four concourses, connected by a centralized check-in lobby, security checkpoint and baggage claim.
In the completed new terminals, find more terminal space, outlets and wider walkways. Plus, increased seating surrounded by local and fresh restaurants curated for the new experience.
While making improvements to the new terminals, we’ve kept our world in mind. You’ll see sustainable technology and improvements in energy efficiency in each new space at LaGuardia.
Enjoy a larger Delta Sky Club in LaGuardia — offering a quiet space to unwind before your flight or enjoy a premium cocktail. You can also take in the view from the new rooftop Sky Deck™.
Rethinking LaGuardia Transportation
It’s easier than ever to come and go, so you can move on with your day. Find direct access between the parking garage and terminals C and D, so you can spend less time getting to your gate.
You’ll be on your way quickly with an improved drop-off and pick-up area. Find better roadways, in addition to a curbside check-in that leads directly to your security checkpoint. Terminals C and D will have access to dual taxi lanes, so you’ll spend less time on the tarmac and benefit from on-time takeoffs.
Taxi & Car Services Pick-Up Changes from Terminals C/D at LGA
To alleviate roadway congestion, the Port Authority is consolidating all taxi pick-up to the west side of the airport, discontinuing taxi pick-ups at Terminals C and D. If you are planning to take a taxi upon arriving in Terminals C and D, Port Authority-operated buses will be available on a continuous loop to take you directly to the taxi area, an approximate 15-minute ride. Port Authority representatives will be on-site for assistance should you have questions.
Additionally, pick-up for remaining Car Services (Lyft, Uber, Juno, limo/black car, etc.) for Terminals C and D will be relocated to a centralized location. Terminal wayfinding signage will be prominent from both terminals to the “Car Services” pick-up location, located on the ground level between Terminals C and D.
Delta Shuttle® Has Moved to Terminal C
All Shuttle flights have relocated to Terminal C, consolidating Delta's LGA operation in Terminals C and D as airport rebuilding continues. Continue to speed through security with a dedicated Shuttle security line located in Terminal C.
Traffic & Parking
As we make progress, here’s what you need to know. Visit LaGuardiaAirport.com for frequent updates on traffic and parking from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Due to construction, we encourage travelers to allow extra travel time and to use mass transit.
Traveling By Car
Given airport roadway construction, customers who require access to Terminals C and D and are traveling eastbound on the Grand Central Parkway (GCP) may prefer to use an alternate route. This alternate route bypasses on-airport roadways in favor of more direct expressway access via westbound GCP.
If traveling eastbound on the GCP:
- Remain on the GCP and bypass LaGuardia Airport exit (Exit 7).
- Immediately beyond the airport, take Exit 9E for Northern Boulevard.
- Pass CitiField and continue on Northern Blvd.
- Follow signs for westbound GCP to return back to LaGuardia via the GCP (GCP entrance will be just past the Sunoco gas station).
- Traveling on the GCP Westbound, take Exit 7 to access Terminals C and D.
This alternate route avoids roadway traffic on the west side of the airport. However, please be advised additional volume may occur along this route when events are held at Citi Field and Flushing Meadows-Corona Park.
