Flights for Military Members
For our active-duty U.S. service members, Delta offers recognition and  savings not available to civilian customers. It’s our way of expressing appreciation for your service.  Along with early boarding, we offer free checked military bag allowance, Go to footer note for active duty members and special U.S. Military policies on pet travel along with vacation packages through Delta Vacations®. Active Duty Military Baggage Benefits
If you’re an active duty member of the U.S. Military and you’re flying with us, you’re allowed more free bags than civilian customers. Please review your free military bag allowance on the baggage and travel fees page.

Military Medical Travel

If you have a war-injured immediate family member or domestic partner, you fall under our Delta Medical Emergency policy. To book a discounted military medical emergency flight, you will need to provide your name and relationship to your injured family member or domestic partner; in addition to the name and phone number of the military hospital providing their care.

At Delta, we define immediate family as spouses, domestic partners, children, parents, siblings, stepsiblings, stepchildren, grandparents, grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and father-, mother-, sister-, brother-, son- and daughter-in-law’s.
