Pricing and Availability | Advertised fares are based on real-time availability at delta.com. Fares are subject to availability and may change at any time before you completion of ticketing.
Baggage Fees | Checked bag fees depend on where you're flying, when you booked and your purchased travel experience. Visit the Baggage and Travel Fees page for checked bag fees and requirements applicable to your ticket. Common baggage fees: For travel within the United States (including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico) or between the United States and Canada, the Caribbean (excluding Cuba), or Mexico, there is a $45 USD fee for first checked bag and $55 USD fee for second checked bag.
Earning Miles with SkyMiles® | SkyMiles® members can earn miles on most flights. Delta Main Basic tickets aren't eligible to earn miles or progress toward SkyMiles Medallion® Status. Other Basic Travel Experience tickets may be eligible for Medallion Qualifying Dollars and reduced miles earned. Booking Travel | Tickets purchased with a Basic Travel Experience are non-refundable and subject to a change or cancellation fee if you adjust your travel after the Risk-Free Cancellation period expires. If you book a Basic experience, you won't receive a seat assignment until check-in and won't be eligible for upgrades — paid or complimentary. SkyMiles Award Travel | When you book with miles, you'll pay taxes, fees and carrier-imposed charges at the time of booking. Award availability is limited and may not be available on every flight or in every market.

Changes, Cancellations and Refunds | Tickets are non-refundable unless purchasing an Extra or Refundable ticket, or unless Delta's cancellation policy applies.
If your Basic Travel Experience ticket — or any ticket for travel starting outside the United States and Canada — is changed or canceled, fees may apply. Visit the Baggage and Travel Fees page for details and to review the applicable fees. You may be able to apply the value of the ticket, minus the change or cancellation fee, toward the value of a new Delta ticket.
