It is simple to redeem your eCredit(s) on delta.com in just a few easy steps.
If you had a SkyMiles account associated to your booking when you canceled your flight, you can find your eCredit by logging in and accessing your Profile.
If you do not have a SkyMiles Profile and need assistance in redeeming your eCredit(s), follow the steps listed below.
You can search for your eCredit by using the credit card that originally purchased the ticket, your SkyMiles account number or with the ticket number for your original booking (a 13-digit number beginning with “006”).
Finding Your Ticket Number
To find your ticket number, in your email inbox search for "Your Flight Receipt" and locate the email that applies to the trip you previously canceled.
Scroll down until you reach the “Flight Receipt” section in that email. Your ticket number will be the first item listed in that section.
Using your ticket number, credit card or SkyMiles account, you can search for your eCredit at delta.com/redeem. Select from the dropdown options how you would like to look up your eCredit, enter the necessary information into the fields and click the “Look Up” button to begin your search. Once you find your eCredit, you can begin validating by entering the first and last name of the original ticket holder and then clicking “Add.”
Note: If you would like to apply your eCredit to a Companion Certificate, select your Companion Certificate first and apply your eCredit at check out.
Step 6: Confirm Your Purchase
On the Review and Pay page you can review your selections a final time and enter your payment information. You will again see the price calculation reflecting the application of your eCredit on the right side. This lets you know exactly how much you will be charged when you complete your purchase. Keep in mind that sometimes your new flight may cost more than your eCredit. If this happens you would need to pay the difference in price to change your ticket.
