At the Gate & Boarding
We continue to leverage trusted experts to help us make informed decisions on changes to the travel experience. To make sure that our standards are consistently met, we've placed over 100 Global Clean Specialists into the operation to collect data to ensure we are always effective.
1. DELTA'S CLEAN AMBASSADORS
These coordinators oversee rigorous quality-assurance inspections and ensure our facilities and aircraft are consistently clean and sanitized. The team is expected to be in 55+ airports by spring 2021.
2. FACE MASKS FOR CUSTOMERS
All customers must wear a mask and extra masks and Care Kits will be available at the gate if you need one.
3. ADDITIONAL CLEANING
Cleaning supplies have been added to the counter for agents to spot clean as they see fit.
4. PLEXIGLASS SHIELDS
Plexiglass shields have been added at all Delta counters throughout the airports systemwide.
5. GATE COUNTERS
Gate counters are being wiped down frequently throughout the day.
6. FACE MASKS FOR EMPLOYEES
All our employees wear masks.
7. BOARDING PASSES
The Fly Delta app can be used to scan your boarding pass for touchless boarding.
8. BOARDING PROCESS
Delta One, Delta Premium Select, First Class, Delta Comfort+ and Sky Priority customers will be invited to board before our agents begin back-to-front boarding for Main Cabin and Basic Economy customers.
9. JET BRIDGES
Jet bridges are being wiped down and sanitized frequently throughout the day.
10. HAND SANITIZER STATIONS
Hand sanitizer dispensers have been added near high-traffic and high-touch locations.
