Travel To/From Venice, Italy (Vce)
Due to major airport congestion caused by the ongoing airport renovation at the Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), we encourage all passengers to arrive at least three hours prior to your flight’s departure time and to check in at the airport kiosks on the first floor in order to expedite your airport experience. Passengers who have checked in online must print a boarding pass using the kiosk in order to be able to proceed directly to the North Security check point or to the Delta Bag Drop at lower level.
Please note that check-in counters close promptly one hour before departure. If a flight is delayed, passengers should still check in according to the original flight departure time. Check-in will be located on the Ground Floor level at the Arrivals Area. After check-in, you can reach the North Security check point by following these steps:
- Go to the center hall and take the stairs or elevator to the Departure Level.
- Look for airport signage directing you to the North Security check point, as a Delta customer you will have a dedicated entry point along with other customers flying on U.S carriers direct to the USA.
Passengers in need of wheelchair assistance will need to call an airport authority wheelchair representative using the intercom once they have arrived at VCE. For more information on how to request wheelchair assistance and a detailed map of all intercom locations, please visit.
If you are arriving in VCE, please be advised of the following information:
Renovation work is affecting the VCE arrival area for all airlines. Delta Welcome Agents will be present and able to answer any questions, including directing passengers to the Airports Baggage Service Office for any baggage issues.
