Some countries and territories have imposed temporary entry requirements, such as limiting entry to citizens, permanent residents, and select visa holders, or restricting to essential travel. We recommend you check directly with your destination's embassy or immigrations office to confirm you are eligible to travel. Please also confirm any requirements for connecting airport destinations if applicable to your itinerary.
Passengers should be prepared to show travel requirement documentation at check-in, prior to boarding, and upon arrival. Documentation includes but is not limited to country or territory specific pre-departure travel documents, COVID test results, COVID vaccination certificates, and health insurance. Destinations define “fully vaccinated” differently - after selecting “vaccinated” in the search filter, passengers should verify their vaccination type, number of doses, and vaccination dates satisfy the requirements for the destination. Test type and timing for “test and travel” are specified by the destination.

Delta and Smartvel may make available a list of COVID-19 test locations for your convenience throughout travel, however, customers may use any laboratory or test provider that meets the legal requirements of their destination (they are not required to use any laboratories or test providers included or referenced here). Customers should always verify that the chosen test provider, type of test, timeframe and method used to receive test results, as well as the certificate of results, meet the requirements of the destination. Please check if your country of destination requires a COVID-19 test performed by accredited laboratories with a specific ISO. Delta Pricing Terms & Conditions:
Advertised fares are based on real-time itinerary pricing available at delta.com. Fares are subject to availability and may change at any time prior to completion of ticketing. Tickets are non-refundable except in accordance with Delta’s cancellation policy. Fare difference will apply for changes. Basic Economy fares are non-refundable and non-changeable, and seats are not assigned until after check-in. For Award tickets, changes to origin, destination, routing, date and time are permitted except for Basic Economy tickets, and the mileage difference (and any applicable taxes) for the new Award ticket will apply. Mileage difference, taxes and fees apply for any changes. Award Travel is subject to government-imposed taxes and fees and carrier-imposed charges, which are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Taxes/fees/carrier-imposed charges depend upon the itinerary, and will range from $11.20 to $600 round-trip.
For travel within the United States (including Puerto Rico) and travel to most destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean, a $30 USD fee applies for the first checked bag and a $40 USD fee applies for the second checked bag. For travel between the United States and Mexico, a $30 USD fee applies for the first checked bag and a $55 USD fee applies for the second checked bag. For travel between United States and Europe, a $75 USD or 60 EUR fee applies for the first checked bag and a $100 USD or 85 EUR fee applies for second checked bag. For travel between United States and Asia or Australia, no fee applies for the first checked bag and a $100 USD fee applies for the second checked bag. Allowances are subject to size/weight limits. Basic Economy: The prices shown are as per passenger. Tickets are nonrefundable unless otherwise stated. Some of the prices listed may be Basic Economy fares; these fares do not include a seat assignment until after check-in, are nonrefundable, and have additional restrictions.
