Complete the Best Fare Guarantee Claim form and click "SUBMIT".

Delta will contact you via email within 24 hours of receiving your claim.

Delta representatives will access the website where the lower fare was found and book the exact same itinerary currently booked at delta.com. If a lower total fare (including all taxes and fees) is found, the refund for the fare difference and the $100 USD travel credit voucher will be processed within 7 days.

Delta will send you a travel credit voucher number via email that can be used for future travel with Delta. Your refund will be processed to the credit card used to purchase the ticket. Your credit card must have a U.S. billing address. Please allow up to two billing periods for this credit to appear in your account.

If you find a lower fare by 12 midnight Eastern Time on the same day you purchased your ticket at delta.com, you can access your itinerary via delta.com and click on the “Change Flights” button. Your new fare will be ticketed and the refund for the difference in fares will be credited to your original form of payment. You won't be eligible for the $100 USD travel credit voucher, since the lower fare was found on delta.com for your exact same itinerary.

Yes, it doesn't apply to tickets purchased over the phone, through a travel agent or via any other ticketing channel.

The booking class designates the type of fare you purchased and the cabin in which you purchased a seat. It will begin with a letter such as U, T, L, K, etc. and will usually be the first letter of the “Fare Code” or “Fare Basis Code.” An example of a booking class may be (L) and the fare basis code may be “LE7NR”. On the Delta ticket, you will find your booking class under the header “Flight and Cabin (Class)” and is located in the Trip Summary section after selecting your flights or under the “Fare Rules” section. Other websites may have this information under “Fare Rules and Restrictions” or “Fare Terms and Conditions” and can be located on the website prior to purchasing your ticket.
