Kauai Activities

The wild, rugged and majestic Napali Coast on Kauai’s north shore features panoramic views of the vast Pacific Ocean, emerald green cliffs and cascading waterfalls. The magic of the Napali Coast with its untouched, unspoiled beauty is the ultimate adventure. The best way to view this 17-mile area of coastline is by air or by sea. Helicopter tours offer an eagle-eye view of 100-foot waterfalls. It’s an exciting activity the entire family can enjoy. Guided kayaking trips paired with hiking will replenish your spirit from a towering perspective.

Other must-do activities include being serenaded by Hawaiian musicians at Fern Grotto. Watch the ocean spray up to 50 feet in the air at the Spouting Horn. Witness thousands of humpback whales migrating during the peak season (January to February) from a great vantage point, such as Poipu, Napali Coast and Port Allen. Head to Princeville for one of the most spectacular golf experiences anywhere on the planet. Here, the Prince Golf Course tests even masters with a demanding layout — climbing slopes and careening down hills.

If you’re looking for a memento to take home that is unique to the island, small boutique shops, craft fairs and outdoor markets are the place to go.
