Prague Vacation Packages

Dubbed “City of a Hundred Spires,” Prague boasts historic churches and cobblestone lanes that overlook a fairytale castle.

Explore Prague

A historic jewel in the heart of the stunning Czech Republic, Prague combines ancient landmarks and long-established breweries with bustling markets and lively jazz clubs for a unique vibe that can’t be beat. Just a short drive from the capital, explore extraordinary attractions, such as Karlovy Vary hot springs and and the Sedlec Ossuary — also known as the Church of Bones. For such a small capital city, in such a tiny country, Prague certainly makes a big impression.

Start your day with a stroll through the city’s cobblestone streets. Spend the afternoon shopping for crystal, glassware and garnets. End the day at a charming local pub, or party long into the night dancing to jazz or techno. Couples will adore Prague’s enchanting ambiance, while history and music lovers alike will enjoy Old Town and the chamber orchestra concerts. Prague is also a fantastic city for families, with attractions like castles, gardens, aquariums, zoos and an astronomical clock with mechanical figures.

Prague is a treat for shoppers interested in everything from fashion and jewelry to antiques and specialty food shops. Whether it's garnets, leather jackets or designer bags, the Cerna Ruze is one of the best shopping places in Old Town. The Palladium Shopping Centre has five floors of shops, restaurants and cafes. Known across the globe for its cut glass and crystal products, you will find designers across the city selling everything from crystal vases, beaded necklaces, wine glasses and more.

The city has two main outdoor shopping markets, and plenty of weekly or semi-weekly farmers’ markets or flea markets to enjoy in warmer weather, but during Easter and Christmas, the number of outdoor markets get in the spirit of the season.

Feast on rich, traditional Czech food, with large portions of meat and potatoes or dumplings. You can also find all kinds of international cuisine, from Italian to Mexican and more. Try the traditional braised beef with dumplings and sauerkraut, enjoy an authentic Czech rolled pastry called trdelnik, or sink your teeth into a huge portion of grilovane klobasy (grilled sausage). Czechs love beer and it’s the national drink. Every kind of taste and color of beer can be found in pubs and bars, beer halls and restaurants with popular brands like Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus and Staropramen.
