How to Cancel or Change a Flight in My Trips
If your trip has been impacted by coronavirus, it is easy to cancel or change your flights.
STEP 1: FIND YOUR TRIP
SkyMiles Members:
- Log in and click on My Trips to view a list of upcoming scheduled trips
- From your list of upcoming trips, select the flight you want to modify by clicking on the airport codes (circled in the image below) or by clicking “Details” to get to the Trip Details page.
Travelers without a SkyMiles account should click on My Trips. Follow the prompts to enter your name and confirmation number. If you don’t have a confirmation number, a credit/debit card or ticket number will also work.


STEP 2: CONTINUE TO MODIFY YOUR FLIGHT
- Once on the Trip Details page click the “Modify Flight” button (circled in the image below.)


STEP 3: SELECT TO CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR FLIGHT
- Select whether you would like to start a flight change or flight cancellation. Change fees will be waived for eligible tickets.

- Your unused ticket will be applied as an eCredit within 24 hours of your originally scheduled travel. If your ticket is eligible for waived fees, you will not be charged a change fee. Check out your eligibility here.


What are eCredits and Where Can I Find Them?
eCredits are a Delta travel voucher with a specific monetary value that can be applied as payment toward the cost of a Delta ticket and any government-imposed taxes and fees.
