Food Service

We offer a selection of complimentary, high-quality, name-brand snacks on Delta and Delta Connection® carrier flights within the United States, Canada, and select Latin America/Caribbean¹ destinations.

Flight Distance: 0-899 Miles (up to 2 hours)

Choose from a selection of complimentary snacks: peanuts, Biscoff cookies, Pretzel Crisps®, and Twix® Bars. A selection of fresh fruit (apples and bananas) is available on all flights without a meal over 250 miles and on flights with a meal over 1,500 miles. Fresh fruit will not be available on Caribbean or Latin America flights. These snacks are available at any time.

Flight Distance: 900-1,500 Miles (about 2-3.5 hours)

In addition to our snack selection you will also receive a complimentary meal.

Flight Distance: More than 1,500 Miles (3.5 hours +)

In addition to our snack selection you will also receive a complimentary meal with a choice of two entrées from Delta Chef Michelle Bernstein (at dinner only²).

Flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle

In addition to our snack selection you will also receive a complimentary meal with a choice of two entrées from Delta Chef Michelle Bernstein (at dinner only²), a bag of premium gourmet nuts, and ice cream truffle.

Special meals are available on flights where complimentary meal service is offered. To request a special meal, you must contact Reservations at least 12 hours (24 hours for Kosher meals) before your scheduled flight departure. Once you check in, advise the gate agent and a flight attendant that you ordered a special meal.

Alaska, Hawaii, and International Flights

Complimentary meal service is offered on select Alaska and Hawaii flights based on flight times and on international flights approximately five hours or longer.

Delta Shuttle Flights

On all weekday Delta Shuttle® flights complimentary fresh snacks are served based on the time of day.

Nonalcoholic Beverages

A wide selection of complimentary nonalcoholic beverages are offered in all classes of service on all flights.

Alcoholic Beverages

A selection of complimentary beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails are offered in the First Class cabin. Complimentary beer and wine is offered on all Delta Shuttle flights and complimentary cocktails are offered in First Class on Delta Shuttle.

Flights over 1500 miles: Breakfast is served on flights departing between 5–9:45am. Lunch is served on flights departing between 9:46am–3:59pm and dinner is served on flights departing between 4–8pm.
