First Class Dining

We want you to experience a first-class dining experience throughout your entire flight. That’s why, in addition to our meal selections, we offer complimentary, high-quality, name-brand snacks on Delta and Delta Connection® carrier flights within the United States, Canada, and select Latin America/Caribbean1 destinations.

Food Service

Flight time and distance are used to determine the food and beverage service you receive onboard your flight. View the information below when making your travel plans.

Flight Distance: 0-250 Miles (up to 1 hour)

Choose from a selection of complimentary snacks: peanuts, pretzels or Biscoff cookies.

Flight Distance: 251-899 Miles (1 to 2 hours)

Choose from a selection of complimentary snacks. Morning flights (departures 05:00-09:45) offer peanuts, pretzels, Biscoff cookies, biscotti, bananas, Otis Spunkmeyer muffins, and Quaker Oats chewy granola bars. All other flights offer peanuts, pretzels, apples, Twix, Toblerone, Sun Chips and Walkers shortbread cookies.

Flight Distance: 900-1,499 Miles (about 2-3.5 hours)

You will also receive a complimentary meal during meal times², in addition to our snack selection.

Flight Distance: More than 1,500 Miles (3.5 hours +)

You will receive a complimentary meal, in addition to our snack selection. On dinner flights², enjoy entrées from chef Michelle Bernstein.

Flights between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles, and San Francisco

Delta is partnering with renowned Chef Michael Chiarello whose distinctive, three-course menu includes an antipasto plate, entree, and dessert course featuring fine cheeses and gelati.

Alaska, Hawaii, and International Flights

Complimentary meal service is offered on select Alaska and Hawaii flights based on flight times and on international flights approximately five hours or longer.

To request a special meal, you may do so via My Trips at least 12 hours (24 hours for Kosher and Hindu) before your scheduled flight departure. Once you check in, advise the gate agent and a flight attendant that you ordered a special meal.

Delta Shuttle Flights

On all weekday Delta Shuttle® flights complimentary fresh snacks are served based on the time of day.

Nonalcoholic Beverages

A wide selection of complimentary nonalcoholic beverages are offered in all classes of service on all flights.

Alcoholic Beverages

A selection of complimentary beers, wines, spirits, and cocktails are offered in the First Class cabin. Complimentary beer and wine is offered on all Delta Shuttle flights and complimentary cocktails are offered in First Class on Delta Shuttle.
