Global Service Center Announcing the New Global Service Center - GSC Effective Monday, July 2, 2007, all Sales Support Center locations will have a new name. The new name of the North American (SSC), Europe (WECC/SSC), and Latin American offices (LACC/SSC) will be the Global Service Center. The name change reflects Delta's continued efforts to provide "world-class" support and to look for ways to create value for our partners and mutual customers. Please continue to contact Delta's Global Service Center via phone in the usual manner. Thank you for your support of Delta Air Lines, and we look forward to working with you. Overview The primary customer of the Global Service Center operations area is the Travel Agency community within the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and the Virgin Islands; however, all Account Sales and Support Representatives (ASSRs) are also readily available to support the Field Sales Representatives. Operations currently handles approximately 1600 calls per day. When an agency contacts the GSC, a phone prompt requests input of the agency IATA number. That ARC number will appear on a telephone LCD screen from which ASSRs can access an agency profile. This profile provides the name, address and phone number for the calling agency. |
