Global Service Center

Updated: August 25, 2008

Overview

Established in 1994, Global Service Center (GSC), began handling non-routine waiver requests formally handled by the Sales offices. Representatives of GSC are referred to as Account Sales and Support Representatives (ASSR) and they work in tandem with Delta's Global Sales & Distribution department.

GSC has three locations: North America, Europe, and Latin America. Primary customers of GSC, located in North America, are Travel Agencies within the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico, Bermuda, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. GSC located in Europe and Latin America primarily assist Travel Agencies within their respective regions.

Contacting the GSC requires a valid agency IATA/ARC number, which you must enter upon telephoning the GSC.The IATA/ARC number will appear on a telephone LCD screen, which allows the ASSRs to retrieve your agency profile (name, address, and phone number) so that they may better assist you.

Note: GSC was formerly called the Sales Support Center. On July 2, 2007, the name was changed as the change reflects Delta's continued efforts to provide "world-class" support and to look for ways to create value for our partners and mutual customers.
