Electronic Tickets

Updated: November 12, 2008

Delta’s goal is to simplify our operations and achieve 100% ET by December 31, 2007. In order to reach this goal, all agencies are kindly requested to ensure that your system will default to ET whenever ticketing on DL and advise your agents of this important ticketing instruction that supports the industry goal of the elimination of paper tickets.

Delta fully supports IATA's "Simplifying the Business" initiative. Carriers and system providers are working together to reduce costs by simplifying our industry’s complex processes and making the most effective use of existing technology. As part of these efforts, the industry recently agreed to modify all ticketing resolutions (both paper and electronic) to mandate the issuance of electronic tickets by default with no options for those itineraries where electronic tickets can be issued.
