BDA/NAS and Mexico have now been included into the zoning for international areas. Rule NBR 95 in the DL-1 tariff governs the applications of amenities for these areas. This rule provides for full amenities including meals to passengers "first/business and tourist class". BDA/NAS and Mexico for the purpose of meal allowances will use the equivalent domestic USD amount guidelines. Important Note: Full amenities will also apply to the domestic segments of transatlantic/transpacific and international "BDA/NAS/Mexico" itineraries providing that the fares for these segments are governed by the DL-1 international passenger rules and fares tariff. Hotel accommodations for a period not to exceed twenty four hours and not in excess of the charge for one nights lodging. The passenger will be allowed one three minute telephone call or one fifteen word straight telegram to the passengers point of origin or destination between any two points in the continental U.S. and Canada. When travel involves points outside the continental U.S. (or Canada) Delta's teletype networks will be utilized to provide delay notification service. Note: Passengers whose trips are interrupted at a city which is also their permanent domicile are eligible for all services with the exception of hotel accommodations. |
