Terms & Conditions
Offer Eligibility:
This offer is valid only for Cardmembers who received the offer, and
registration is required to qualify for the bonus. If you aren't a
SkyMiles member yet, you can enroll
now. Review the promotional material you received for details on
the minimum number of points you must transfer to qualify for the bonus.
Point Transfer Details:
You will receive one mile in your SkyMiles account for every eligible
Membership Rewards point transferred. Allow 12–24 hours for the
points to be transferred. Please note that after the transfer is complete,
the points cannot be transferred back to your Membership Rewards account.
Bonus Award Information:
The mileage bonus will be based on the total number of miles placed into
the SkyMiles account as a result of eligible Membership Reward transfers
during the promotional period, between November 1 and December 15,
2006. Bonus miles will be posted up to 8 weeks after the expiration
date of the promotion.
Fees:
Cardmembers transferring Membership Rewards points to U.S.-based airlines
will be charged a fee of $.0004 per point, up to $50. This charge is
to offset the excise taxes American Express currently pays to the government
for such transactions.
Award Travel Options:
Miles in the SkyMiles program can be redeemed for Award Travel on Delta,
the Delta Connection carriers, Delta Shuttle, or on any of Delta's airline
partners. Taxes and fees for Award Travel are the responsibility
of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked.
Award Travel seats are limited and may not be available on all flights
or in all markets. Partner airline benefits may change at any time
and are subject to the terms and conditions of each partner. All SkyMiles

Miscellaneous:
Transferred points and bonus miles do not count towards Medallion status
or Million Miler status. Other restrictions may apply, and offers are
