Transfer Miles Program Terms & Conditions

You acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions, as such Terms and Conditions may change from time to time, by completing and submitting the accompanying order form ("Order Form") or by providing your credit card number for the transfer of Delta miles (“Miles”) from your Delta SkyMiles Program account for posting to another SkyMiles Program member’s (“Member's”) SkyMiles Program account.

Agreement between Points.com Inc., ("Points.com") and the transferor ("Transferor") in connection with Transferor's desire to transfer Miles in the SkyMiles® Program.Whereas Points.com has entered into an agreement with DLMS for the purpose of facilitating the transfer of Miles between Members on an exclusive basis; and Whereas Transferor desires to transfer Miles from his/her Account for posting to another Member's Account and Transferor acknowledges that Transferor will be charged certain fees for such transfer.

Taxes/Fees:
You will be charged $0.01 USD per mile, plus a $30 USD processing fee per transaction or as otherwise set forth on the order form. All amounts paid by the Member for the transfer of miles pursuant to this Agreement are exclusive of a U.S. federal excise tax and sales, use or privilege taxes, or tax-like charges, fees or similar liabilities. GST applies to residents of Canada on the $30 USD processing fee. Miles are sold in U.S. dollars. All transfer fees for miles transferred using the SkyMiles Transfer Program are nonrefundable. Taxes and fees for Award Travel are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Award Travel seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets.

Transfer Acceptance:
All requests to transfer miles from one Member's account to a recipient Member's account orders are subject to acceptance by Delta Loyalty Management Services, Inc. (“DLMSI”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. The transfer and use of miles is subject to all of the rules, terms and conditions of the Delta SkyMiles Membership Guide and Program Rules. SkyMiles Program rules, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. The sale or barter of mileage credit by SkyMiles members is prohibited. Your submission of an Order Form and credit card number for the transfer of miles authorizes DLMSI, or Points.com to charge the credit card that you provided under the SkyMiles Transfer Program for the amount stated, based on the number of miles you are requesting to transfer. All charges and related handling fees for miles transferred through the SkyMiles Transfer Program website should appear on your monthly credit card statement. In the event of any mileage or financial discrepancy, payment calculations under shall be based upon data maintained by DLMSI or Points.com.

Mileage Amounts:
Miles can be transferred in increments of 1,000 miles, with a minimum transfer of 1,000 miles. Transferred miles are applicable for all SkyMiles Program awards. Transferred miles do not count toward Medallion® or Million Miler status. All mileage transfers are final and cannot be reversed. Each Member is limited to transferring no more than 150,000 miles from his/her account and no recipient may receive more than 300,000 transferred miles from any other SkyMiles Program account or combination of accounts in any calendar year. Any miles beyond this limit will not be transferred from member's account or posted to any recipient's account.

Notification:
The transferred miles will automatically be deducted from your SkyMiles Program account and deposited into the SkyMiles Program account you identified within seven (7) business days. In order to transfer miles, the intended recipient must be enrolled in the Delta SkyMiles Program and you must have the intended recipient’s SkyMiles Program account number. Transfer Miles may only be donated and received by SkyMiles accounts that have been established for at least 10 days and have a Total Lifetime Balance greater than zero. You will receive email notification of the transfer. When you provide the email address of an individual to whom you are transferring your miles, DLMSI or its agent will send an email to that individual that will include information about the transferred miles along with your name and email address. You grant to DLMSI or Points.com consent to use your name and email address for the purpose of sending such email to the individual to whom you are transferring your miles.
