Transfer Miles

Bring friends and family members closer to their next Award Ticket by sharing your miles. Transfer miles directly from your SkyMiles account to the account of another SkyMiles member. And, for a limited-time, pay no processing fee when you transfer more than 10,000 miles.

The Cost

• $0.01 per mile, plus a $30 processing fee (plus applicable taxes)

The Rules

• You can transfer 1,000 to 30,000 miles in increments of 1,000 miles.
• A maximum of 300,000 miles can be transferred into any individual SkyMiles account per calendar year.
• Up to 150,000 miles can be deducted from your account per calendar year.
• Transfer Miles transactions are nonrefundable and may take up to seven days to post to the recipient's account.

What You'll Need

• The SkyMiles account number and name of the recipient as it appears on their SkyMiles account.
• A valid major credit card.

Terms & Conditions

¹Transaction must be completed on delta.com between October 1 and October 31, 2008. Bonus mile offer expires October 31, 2008. Bonus miles will be awarded for all transfer miles transactions made during this time period. Bonus miles will be awarded to the recipient of the miles. Offer does not apply to miles purchased under the SkyMiles Buy or Gift Miles program. The bonus is eligible only on transactions completed on delta.com. Bonus miles will be posted to the recipient's account 4-6 weeks after the transfer transaction is complete.
