Buy Miles between October 1 and December 31, 2008, and you will get a 30% mileage bonus. For example, buy 10,000 miles and you'll get an extra 3,000 miles for a total of 13,000 miles.

Terms & Conditions

Offer Eligibility:
Transaction must be completed between October 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008. Bonus mile offer expires December 31, 2008. Offer does not apply to miles transferred under the SkyMiles Transfer Miles program. Bonus is eligible only on transactions completed on delta.com.

Mileage Purchase:
Miles may be purchased for $0.0275 USD per mile (minimum 2000 miles) plus a 7.5% Federal Excise Tax per mile. An additional 5% GST will apply to purchases by Canadian residents. A maximum of 50,000 miles may be purchased per calendar year, per SkyMiles account through the Buy Miles and Gift Miles programs, respectively. To earn the 30% bonus, gifted miles must be claimed by December 31, 2008. Multiple gifts may be given with one transaction. Purchased miles are non-refundable, and should post to the appropriate SkyMiles account within 72 hours. The 30% mileage bonus will post to the account within 4 to 6 weeks of purchase. For gifted miles, the 30%mileage bonus will post to the account within 4 to 6 weeks of the miles being claimed.

Miscellaneous:
Taxes and fees for Award Travel are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Award Travel seats are limited and may not be available on all flights or in all markets. Purchased and bonus miles do not count toward Medallion or Million Miler status. . Gift miles may only be received into SkyMiles accounts that have been established for at least 10 days and have a Total Lifetime Balance greater than zero. All Delta SkyMiles program rules apply.
