Medallion® members have access to designated, BusinessElite®/Business Class or First Class check-in areas at most airports where Delta offers this service. SkyMiles members can check in for a domestic flight and print a boarding card via delta.com up to 24 hours before a flight's scheduled departure. Also, SkyMiles members traveling on a Delta e-ticket for a domestic flight can use our self-service kiosks in more than 80 airports nationwide to quickly check in for a flight or standby for an upgrade. Kiosks also allow you to check baggage, select or change seat assignments, change your flight, provide for multiparty check-in, add your SkyMiles number to your itinerary, print a receipt, and more.
Platinum Medallion and Gold Medallion members have access to frequent traveler security lines in select U.S. domestic airports. To use these lines, show your Medallion card along with the appropriate boarding documents. For a list of cities that have these lines available, visit Frequent Traveler Security Lines. This benefit is subject to government security regulations and may be suspended at any time by government directive.
When traveling within the United States, Online Check-in allows you to check in for your flight from wherever you are using delta.com from 24 hours to 30 minutes before your flight's departure. That means no waiting in line—just show your ID and printed delta.com boarding pass at the security check point. Online Check-in is for passengers traveling within the United States on an electronic ticket2.
With our zone boarding process, Medallion members are invited to continue boarding early on most flights1. This will give you more time to locate your seat and store your carry-ons before general boarding. All passengers with First Class seats are invited to board in zone 1. Medallions can begin boarding in zone 2 when traveling in Economy Class.
1Delta does not offer priority boarding on the Delta Shuttle® flights. AeroMexico offers priority boarding on all flights except between Mexico City and Monterey. Air France and Korean Air offer priority boarding on international flights only. Alitalia offers priority boarding where operationally available. Also with our enhanced partnership with Alaska Airline members will be offered Priority Boarding on all flights operated by Alaska & Horizon Airlines.
2If you plan to check baggage, you need to do so upon arriving at the airport. Upgrades and other transactions must be handled at the ticket counter.
