It's our way of saying thanks for being a Cardmember—and making it easier than ever to share your travel experience with someone special. And, you can now redeem online.

How do Companion Certificates work?

Depending on the Card you have, there are three different types of Companion Certificates:

• Free* Domestic First Class Companion Certificates allow Delta Reserve Cardmembers to bring a friend at no additional cost (plus taxes and fees)—and entitle you to First/Business or Coach seating.


• Free* Domestic Coach Companion Certificates allow Platinum Delta SkyMiles Cardmembers to bring a friend at no additional cost (plus taxes and fees)—and entitle you to Coach seating.


• $99* Domestic Coach Companion Certificates allow Gold Delta Skymiles Cardmembers to bring a friend for just $99 (plus taxes and fees)—and entitle you to Coach seating.

How do I redeem a Companion Certificate?

1. Just click the "Redeem Now" button and log in with your SkyMiles number and PIN.


2. Enter the 8-character certificate code from the letter or email you received.


3. Search for eligible flights and book your trip.
