Online Statement FAQs

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about online statements. If your question or comment has not been addressed, feel free to email us.

What is an online statement?

An online statement is a version of your SkyMiles account activity that can be viewed at delta.com. When you elect to receive your statement online you'll receive an email at the beginning of each month reminding you to check your activity from the previous month. This email will contain special Delta news and program information as well as valuable partner offers available exclusively to SkyMiles members.


What are the advantages of choosing to access my account activity online?

Online statements contain account activity for the previous month; however, there are numerous advantages to reviewing your SkyMiles account activity online, including:

  • month-to-month account activity
  • 24-hour availability
  • no paper to file
  • links to various Delta and SkyMiles partner offers

How do I begin accessing my online statement?

There are three pages at delta.com where you can sign up to review your online statement:

  • Profile—From the Contact Me tab, choose the Email my SkyMiles statements to: option and select the email address that you want us to use when notifying you that your online statement is available. Select Update to save your changes. If you haven't provided us with an email address, you must first enter an email address on the About Me tab.

  • SkyMiles Enrollment and PIN Page—You can also sign up when you initially enroll to become a member of the SkyMiles program. Go to SkyMiles Enrollment and PIN. As you work through the online enrollment process, be sure to check the box that reads "I would like to receive my SkyMiles statement at delta.com." Make sure your email address is correct, then click GO.

  • Create a PIN Page—As you set up your PIN on the Create a PIN page, be sure to check the box that reads "I would like to receive my SkyMiles statement exclusively at delta.com." Make sure your email address is correct, then click Go.

When can I review my statement online?

You can view your online statement at your convenience, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The first full week of every month, Delta will send you an email reminding you to check your previous months' activity. This email will include Delta news and information as well as SkyMiles program and partner news and information.


What are some possible reasons I might not receive my reminder email?

The most likely reason for not receiving your reminder email is that we have an incorrect email address for you. It may be that the address was submitted improperly or that your email address has changed. Another reason you may not receive your reminder email is because the server that delivers/receives the email may be down. Should this occur, we will not continue to resend you an email.


What do I do if I don't receive my reminder email?

If you do not receive your reminder email, go to Profile, and retype your email address. Be sure to click Update at the bottom of the page to ensure your information is submitted properly. And remember, you can still check your SkyMiles account activity online at any time.


Will I receive my monthly reminder email even if I don't have any SkyMiles activity during the previous month?

Yes. You will receive a reminder email each month regardless of whether you have any SkyMiles account activity. You will continue to receive emails monthly as long as you continue to be enrolled for online statements.


How do I change my email address?

If your email address changes, visit Profile to update your email address. Remember to click Update at the bottom of the page to make sure your information is submitted properly.


Will I also receive a paper statement while I am enrolled for online statements?

No. In support of Delta's green efforts, we do not send paper statements.


How can I switch from online statements to not receiving statements?

Go to Profile, from the Contact Me tab, select the option to Unsubscribe. Be sure to click Update at the bottom of the page to ensure your information is submitted properly. You can also click on the "unsubscribe" text in your reminder email, which takes you to Profile. When switching from online statements to no statements, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for the change to become effective. If you opt out of the online statement program, you will lose the ability to access your month- account activity; however, you can still go online to access your 12 month account activity.


What is the difference between the online statement and the account activity I can currently view at delta.com?

Enrolling to view your statement online enables you to view your account activity month-by-month or up to 3 years.


Do I have to receive the reminder email? Why can't I just check my account activity whenever I want?

Yes, you will receive the reminder email if you enroll to receive your statement online. This email enables Delta to advise you of all the valuable SkyMiles offers you are entitled to. However, you don't need to wait until you get the reminder email to check your account activity, you can view your activity at your convenience 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you do not sign up for online statements, you will only have access to your 12 month view of Account History and not the monthly view.


Do I still have access to my 12 month view summary?

Yes, by viewing your Account History, you are able to access your 12 month summary of account activity 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
