Here are the questions you might have about the merger. If your question or comment has not been addressed in any section of the FAQs, feel free to email us.
No, it's business as usual for Delta and Northwest passengers. You will not see immediate changes in your itinerary or reservations as a result of the merger.
Customers seeking information on which carrier is operating a flight purchased from Delta or Northwest can check their flight itineraries at delta.com or nwa.com.
You can also find this information on your boarding pass. The term "Operated by" indicates the airline that is actually operating or flying the flight. For example, if your boarding pass states "Operated by Delta Air Lines" you should check in with Delta at the airport and/or proceed to the Delta departure gate.
You can continue to purchase tickets as you've always done via delta.com or nwa.com, plus all Northwest-operated flights are offered for sale on delta.com. For the time being, Delta and Northwest's websites will continue to operate separately, as will the two airlines' reservations systems and frequent flyer programs.
Yes. Your travel-related purchases are still valid, and it's business as usual for both airlines right now.
It's business as usual and your reservation details will not be impacted. All Delta and Northwest tickets can be serviced by the airline from which you purchased your flight. As always, visit delta.com or nwa.com to manage your reservations and to request special services.
The process has not changed. You may continue to redeem your Delta eCoupons at delta.com and your Northwest Airlines E-Certificates and Vouchers at nwa.com.
