Cargo Online Booking FAQs

Once I'm in deltacargo.com, can I link back to delta.com?

Yes, the home link at the top of the page will take you back to delta.com.


Why can't I check a shipment from two months ago with the multiple shipment tracking function?

When using the date range fields, you can only check shipments in the system within a date range that is 30 days from the current date.


I want to ship something to an area that is only served by a Delta Connection® flight.

Currently, we only allow shipments to be booked to areas that are served by Delta Air Lines. Flights on The Delta Connection carriers are not available for online booking at this time.


I noticed a login for deltacargo.com. Why do I have to log in? I didn't have to log in before?

You must now log in to access the booking tool and multiple shipment status history. The only functionality that exists on deltacargo.com is shipment status which you still do not have to log in to use.


Why am I getting the message "Warning: Page has Expired"?

Once you log in, you are in a secure environment. You cannot use the browser back button for security reasons.


Why can't I get my login and password to work?

Login ID's and passwords are case-sensitive and can be no longer than six alpha and/or numeric characters.


Why do I keep getting an error message when I put in my air waybill number?

Please note the following if you're getting an error message:

  • The number you've entered is 8 numeric characters.
  • The 006 prefix in front of the air waybill number cannot be changed.

I entered a commodity type, but when I went to change the booking, it does not appear on the screen?

The commodity type has been stored in our system and will be available on the AWB at the time your shipment is tendered.


The booking screen asks for shipment remarks. What type of remarks should be entered?

Any special instructions that are pertinent for the movement of the shipment.


What if I have more than 9 individual dimensions on box sizes?

The online booking agent can only handle shipments that have 9 or fewer different dimensions. If you have greater than 9 different dimensions for your total shipment, you will need to contact Delta Cargo at 800-DL-CARGO (800-352-2746).
