Cargo eBilling FAQs

Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about Cargo eBilling. If your question or comment has not been addressed, please contact us by submitting the Cargo eBilling Contact form.

How do I get a User ID for Cargo eBilling?

To receive a User ID for Cargo eBilling, you must complete the Online Registration Request form, providing your billing account number if you are a current account. If you are not a current account, you must first complete the online Known Shipper Request form to be established with an account number.


I got an Invalid Password error when I tried to log on. What do I do?

The Invalid Password error means you entered an incorrect Password. You may want to try entering your Password again. Remember Passwords are case sensitive. If you have forgotten your Password, you may request your password online. It will be mailed to the email address associated with your User ID.


I got an Invalid User ID error when I tried to log on. What do I do?

The Invalid User ID error means you entered an incorrect User ID. You may want to try entering your User ID again. Remember User IDs are case sensitive. If you have forgotten your User ID, explain your problem using the eBilling Contact form


How do I change my email address or add another person to access Cargo eBilling for my account?

Changes can be made by using the eBilling Contact form.


How do I view my most recent invoice?

Click on the View Current Invoice option on the left navigational bar.


How do I view an air waybill listed on my Invoice?

Click on the air waybill number to view the air waybill.


How do I find an Invoice for a previous week?

You may use the Advanced Invoice Search and enter the Invoice date for the desired week.


How do I use the wildcard search (* or ?) ?

A wildcard search using an asterisk (*) allows you to search for all Invoices or Air Waybills that match the first few characters in your Invoice or Air Waybill number.

For example, enter 13* to find a list of all your Air Waybills that begin with “13”.
Enter L19* to see a list of all your Invoices that begin with “L19”.

A wildcard search using a question mark (?) allows you to replace any character with a question mark (?). This search will return your Invoices or Air Waybills that match all the characters you entered.

For example, enter 1234?678 to see a list of all your Air Waybills that begin with “1234” and end with “678”.
Enter L191234? to see a list of all your Invoices that begin with “L191234”.


I got the response “No invoices were found for your search criteria. Please try another search.” What does this mean?

This response means no invoices were found matching the information you entered in your Simple Search or Advanced Search request. If you:

  • Used a Simple Search, no invoices were found matching the invoice number you entered. Verify the invoice number and try again, or use a wildcard search on your invoice number.
  • Used an Advanced Search, no invoices were found matching the information you entered: Invoice number, Invoice date, Account number, and/or customer name.
  • Entered information in more than one box, try searching on one field at a time to increase the number of possible results.
  • Continue to have problems locating your invoice, explain your problem using the eBilling Contact form and we will assist you.

How do I see a list of all invoices for my account?

You may use the Advanced Invoice Search and enter your Account Number or Customer Name. You may also use the Simple Invoice Search with a wildcard search of L*.


How far back can I view invoices for my account?

Invoices will be available to view for at least the past 60 days.


How do I know if an invoice with an old Date is Outstanding?

If the Due Date on the invoice is a date within the last 60 days, it may be paid or unpaid. The Cargo eBilling System does not currently reflect payments received. If the Due Date on the invoice is a future date, the invoice is outstanding for payment.


I clicked on the invoice or air waybill number but I am unable to open the document. I get a “pop-up blocked” message in the menu bar of my browser. What should I do?

From your Internet Explorer 6.0 browser menu, select Tools, Pop-up Blocker, then Turn Off Pop-Up Blocker.


How do I pay an invoice?

To pay an invoice, print the invoice and mail it with your check to the address shown under the words Send Payment to the Following Address.


How do I return to my Invoice on Cargo eBilling from FAQs?

Use your browser “Back” button to return to Cargo eBilling pages from FAQs or from any “Related Links” page at Delta.com. If the session expired when you return to Cargo eBilling, you will be able to log in again.


How do I view the original air waybill image?

Select the Search by Air Waybill option and use either the Simple Search or Advanced Search. When you click on the AWB number, the original air waybill image will be displayed.


How can I see a list of air waybills for my account?

You may use the Advanced Air Waybill Search to search by Shipper’s account number, Date air waybill created, Origin airport, Destination airport, Shipper’s address and/or Shipper’s zip code.


How do I see a list of all invoices for my account?

You may use the Advanced Invoice Search and enter your Account Number or Customer Name. You may also use the Simple Invoice Search with a wildcard search of L*.


How far back can I view air waybills for my account?

Outstanding air waybills will be available to view for at least the past twelve months.


I got the response “No air waybills were found for your search criteria. Please try another search.” What does this mean?

This response means no air waybills were found matching the information you entered in your Simple Search or Advanced Search request. If you:

  • Used a Simple Search, no air waybills were found matching the air waybill number you entered. Verify the air waybill number and try again, or use a wildcard search on your air waybill number.
  • Used an Advanced Search, no air waybills were found matching the information you entered: Shipper’s account number, Date air waybill created, Origin airport, Destination airport, Shipper’s address, and/or Shipper’s zip code. If you entered information in more than one box, try searching on one field at a time to increase the number of possible results.
  • Continue to have problems locating your air waybill, explain your problem using the eBilling Contact form and we will assist you.

How do I print an invoice or air waybill?

After you open the invoice or air waybill, click on the “Print” option at the top of the screen. Select the desired printer. Under “Preferences”, select the applicable “orientation”. Click on “OK”.

Note: Landscape is the best orientation for printing the invoice. Portrait is the best orientation for printing the air waybill.


How do I save an invoice or air waybill on my computer?

After you open the invoice or air waybill, click on the “Save” option at the top of the screen. Another window will open with “Open” and “Save” options; select the “Save” option again. Locate the desired folder, name the file and click on “Save.”

The Invoice and air waybill documents will be saved as a “.txt” file. The air waybill image will be saved as a “.tif” image.


How do I email an invoice or air waybill?

After you open the invoice or air waybill, click on the “Email” option at the top of the screen. The Invoice or air waybill will be sent to the email address associated with your User ID and Password.
