Delta Gift Certificates

When you're looking for the perfect gift idea, look no further than a gift certificate from Delta. They're the ideal way to simplify all of your holiday, birthday, or special occasion shopping, while making sure you're giving a gift that will truly be appreciated.

What are Delta Gift Certificates?

At this time, Delta Gift Certificates can only be used to purchase air travel and Crown Room Club® memberships:

  • For any Delta destination1
  • On any Delta, Delta Connection, Delta Shuttle, Delta Codeshare flight,
  • Including Delta Vacation packages.

Gift Certificates are:

  • Valid for one year from the date of purchase. Upon expiration, the certificate will be void and non-refundable.
  • Combinable with other promotional certificates or coupons unless the offer specifically prohibits the combined use.
  • Able to be used to purchase another person's ticket provided the person whose name appears on the certificate endorses it at time of ticketing.
  • Refundable to the purchaser within the one year validity period.

Tickets purchased with gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

Purchasing a Delta Gift Certificate

Gift certificates can be purchased with cash, check, or credit card at any of our Delta Ticket Offices, airport locations2, or authorized travel agency.

You may purchase:

  • A certificate in dollar amounts not to exceed $350.
  • Up to 3 gift certificates at the maximum $350 dollar amount at one time.

Using a Delta Gift Certificate

The recipient of a Delta Gift Certificate can redeem their dollar amount for an air ticket or Crown Room Club membership at any Delta U.S., San Juan, or U.S. Virgin Islands ticket office location, including your local travel agent.

Gift certificates are not redeemable at delta.com at this time.

If a gift certificate is lost or stolen, follow the instructions for handling lost tickets.

Refunding a Delta Gift Certificate

Gift certificates are refundable during the one year validity period. After the 12 month validity period, the certificate is void and non-refundable.

Totally Unused Gift Certificates

Are subject to a penalty charge of 10 percent of the face value.

Partially Used Gift Certificates

  • May be refunded in either cash or Delta Charge Order (type of credit).
  • No penalty applied.
