Browser Compatibility

Here's some information about browsers to help you have the best experience possible when visiting delta.com.

Versions and Encryption

To view delta.com, one of the following browsers is recommended:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
• Firefox 2 or higher for Windows and Mac
• Safari 2 or higher for Mac

For the most powerful protection of your data, we require that you use a browser that provides strong 128-bit encryption—sometimes referred to as cipher strength. If you are using the recommended browser versions, you should be covered.

Browser Preferences

For the website to function properly, cookies and JavaScript must be enabled in your browser preferences. Disabling any of these features or using an older or noncompatible browser may mean that you won't be able to take full advantage of delta.com.

Plug-ins

Some pages may require the Adobe® Reader® (4.0 and higher) and Flash® Player (9,0,115,0 and higher) plug-in. They're available as free downloads.

Known Compatibility Issues

While we do everything we can to maintain a consistent experience across browsers and platforms, we realize we may not always succeed. Presently there are several known issues we are working to resolve.

• When selecting seats, Safari on Mac does not provide the exit row questionnaire. Use the latest version of Firefox for Mac to ensure you agree to the requirements.
• There are assorted display issues in Safari that will not affect application usage, but are being investigated by us to provide an optimal experience. These include the notation for the lowest fare in Booking and Award Ticket and the calendars in Award Ticket. We are investigating options to improve the display without impacting other browsers. For now, the latest version of Firefox for Mac displays Award Ticket as designed.
