First Class Flexibility

With a refundable First Class ticket on the Delta Shuttle, you can return to L.A. from San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK), San José (SJC) or Sacramento (SMF) without a change fee. (A nominal difference in fare may apply.)  

At the Airport

Delta Shuttle customers check in at their own exclusive Shuttle check-in and bag-drop counter and all customers speed through security using the Sky Priority® security line. 

Food & Beverages

We're the only carrier to offer free beer and wine for all customers. Starbucks® coffee, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. craft beer and fresh snacks from Luvo™ are served on this route. 



  • The Delta Shuttle on the West Coast has flights departing and arriving all day—so you can make your meeting even if it changes.

  • With assigned seating, check in for your flight just 20 minutes before departure when travelling only with carry-on luggage and 30 minutes before when checking bags.

  • Wi-Fi is available for purchase in flight, so you’ll arrive up to speed.

  • Stay on top of things with complimentary newspapers like Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Financial Times and more.

  • Delta Shuttle passengers earn at least 500 miles for each one-way trip. SkyMiles Medallion® members will enjoy complimentary First Class upgrades, when available.

A portion of travel for some itineraries may be on the Delta Connection® carriers: Compass Airlines dba Delta Shuttle and SkyWest.

Terms & Conditions

“Nominal difference” refers to the fare difference between the SFO-LAX fare and the applicable fare from the selected departure airport to LAX.

To be sure that you allow sufficient time for ticketing, baggage checks, and Security Checkpoints, see Check-in Requirements. Only passengers with a government-issued ID, a same-day ticket and a boarding pass will be allowed to proceed through the airport security checkpoint and on to the gate. The appropriate documentation is subject to local airport requirements. Boarding documents for all Delta Shuttle flights will be issued at the airport ticket counters, self-service kiosks or through mobile or check-in. In accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines, customers will now be limited to one carry-on bag and one personal item (such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer).
