After years of planning and as part of a $1.4 billion investment in John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Terminal 4 (T4) is now open. Everything about it was designed to provide you with a more comfortable, convenient airport experience. We look forward to welcoming you to our new home in the Big Apple.

Departing from JFK?

You can find out your terminal 24 hours before departure, and gate information 2½ hours before by using Online Check-in, Flight Status or the Fly Delta app.

All Delta flights operate from T4 or T2.* Delta Connection flights routinely leave from T2. International flights and flights to Los Angeles (LAX), San Francisco (SFO) and Seattle (SEA) routinely leave from T4. Once you’re at JFK, check in-airport screens for the most up-to-date details.

Cutoff time for checked baggage is 60 minutes before departure. We recommend that you clear security in the terminal from which your flight departs. Should you need to switch between T4 and T2, a shuttle is available to transfer you between terminals. Although times can vary, the ride takes an average of 15-25 minutes.

*T2 closes at 8:30pm. All passengers checking in after 8pm should proceed to T4.
