Global Entry is a program developed by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to expedite entry into the U.S. for low-risk, pre-screened international travelers. Upon arriving in the U.S., members proceed directly to the automated Global Entry kiosk — bypassing passport control lines and paper customs declarations.
Global Entry is now available at most major U.S. airports, including:
For a complete list of locations you can visit the Global Entry website.
U. S. citizens and permanent residents at least 14 years of age are eligible to participate in the program. A nonrefundable application fee of $100 per applicant will be charged at the time of application. If approved, membership is valid for five years. Here's how the application/approval process works:
So, if you've ever wanted to bypass the long lines at customs and passport control, here's your chance. For more information, visit www.globalentry.gov.
The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) risk-based screening initiative, TSA Pre√, started in October 2011. The goal of this initiative is to test modified screening procedures for selected passengers traveling through certain security checkpoints within the U.S.
Our most frequent fliers and members of Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Global Entry, SENTRI, and NEXUS Trusted Traveler programs who are U.S. citizens may be eligible to participate in this pilot program. Eligible members must opt-in to be considered for Pre√. Members may opt in by updating and saving their Secure Flight Passenger Data, or by adding their Trusted Traveler / Membership Number / PassID (for Global Entry, SENTRI, and NEXUS members) in the Known Traveler field in the Secure Flight section of their profile on delta.com.

Steps to become TSA Pre√ eligible through Delta:
1. Delta contacted select frequent flyers with an invitation to opt in*
2. Passengers opt in by storing their Secure Flight Passenger Data in their Delta profile
3. Delta submits passenger reservation information to TSA’s Secure Flight system
*If a Delta frequent flyer did not receive an invitation, he/she can still participate by joining a CBP Trusted Traveler program such as Global Entry and entering the PASS ID number in the Known Traveler field.
Please note that TSA will determine eligibility for modified screening on a per-flight-segment basis and does not guarantee that you will receive expedited screening on future travel. TSA Pre√ only applies to passengers with a domestic itinerary.
