Your time is valuable. Whether you're flying for business or going on vacation with your family, we want to help make your travel experience as stress-free as possible.
During your travels, you may run into longer than normal wait times or other airport delays. And even though these delays may be out of Delta's control, we want you to be aware so you can plan accordingly.
Due to increased seasonal traffic at Jackson Hole Airport (JAC), please plan to arrive at least two hours prior to your departure to allow sufficient time to go through the TSA security checkpoint.
Due to renovations to our gate and lobby areas, passengers at DFW should use the E18 security checkpoint and follow signage to our temporary location at Terminal E Satellite, Gates 25 through 30. Please check-in at least 90 mins from departure in order to make it to your gate in enough time.
The Delta Sky Club® is temporarily located on the Terminal E Satellite mezzanine level.
Effective November 2, 2014 (local arrival/departure time), Delta Shuttle flights between New York-LaGuardia (LGA) and Boston (BOS) will operate from LGA Terminal C.
Effective October 11, 2014, Delta check-in counters at São Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) will move to Terminal 1 with our partner GOL.
Due to the large volume of seasonal flights FAI is currently experiencing long lines at the TSA screening checkpoint. We are asking all passengers to please arrive at the airport no later than:
Due to increased security screening at Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST), passengers should arrive at the airport at least 3½ hours prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time and should be at the gate at least 1½ hours prior.
These airports are experiencing longer than normal customs processing times. Departing passengers are encouraged to adhere to the recommended airport arrival time for international flights, which is three hours prior to departure.
As of January 13, 2015, we expanded Terminal 4 (T4) at New York-JFK by opening 11 new gates in Concourse B. All Delta flights continue to operate from T4 and T2.*
Please note, departure terminals are subject to change. You can find out which terminal you’re departing from 24 hours before departure and access gate information 4 hours before by using Online Check-in, Flight Status or the Fly Delta app. Once at JFK, please check airport screens for the most up-to-date details.
Cutoff time for checked baggage is 60 minutes before departure. We recommend that you proceed to the security checkpoint in the terminal from which your flight departs. Should you need to switch between T4 and T2, we have expanded the JFK Jitney to now offer three shuttle routes to transfer you between terminals:
At each stop, customers should choose the shuttle marked with their desired Terminal location. Although times can vary, the shuttle ride takes between 2-6 minutes on average.
*T2 closes at 8:30 p.m. All passengers checking in after 8 p.m. should proceed to T4.
